Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the unsweetened cocoa powder, white sugar, and vegetable oil. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract. Mix until well-combined. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir the dry ingredients into the cocoa mixture little by little until well-combined.
  4. Cover dough with plastic foil, then chill for 3-4 hours.
  5. Preheat oven at 180 degrees celsius.
  6. Line the pan with a baking sheet.
  7. Roll dough into small balls, about 1 inch. Coat them in confectioners' sugar. Then place each onto the prepared baking pan.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Let stand on the cookie sheet for a minute or two. Then transfer to the cooling rack.
